The Member Directory Levels Add-On adds the levels functionality to the base Expert Directory Plugin.


What is a Level

Each expert level can display different information on page.

For example:

  1. Basic Members - may only display Title and Pitch
  2. Advanced - can showcase Website, Video, but not social media links
  3. VIP - able to show all desired information

Create any number of expert levels and display them all in a single table.

The name is up to you: Newbie, Junior, Specialist, Partner, VIP, PhD...

Each level receives an unique page where you can further explain why it's unique.


Custom Level Icons

Each level has two icons: a small and a big one. They are displayed both on the Expert Directory and on the Expert Profile Page.

Upload any image for each spot. Match levels with the visual identity of your site!

Charge users any amount for having an expert profile with a different level. Create free teaser levels with limited information.

This feature requires the Payments Add-On.

It's even possible to set up subscriptions with recurring payments if you have WooCommerce Subscription or WooCommerce Payments installed.

Basic Questions

What is the purpose of this add-on?

The Member Directory Levels add-on allows you to create different levels or tiers for member within your directory.

Levels grant access to different fields in the profile, motivating your users to apply for higher tiers.

What is an example of using Member Levels?

Setting three tiers: Basic, Gold and Diamond.

Basic Members can register for free and can only show their title and description.

Gold Members can also show their company information and website. You can manually assign this free tier to users that contact you.

Paying users have access to the Diamond tier, which opens up all fields. This feature requires the payment add-on.

Can I name the levels?

Yes. You can assign a name and description to each level.

Tiers commonly used are Gold, Silver and Bronze or Standard and Premium.

How can users pick a level?

You can place the Levels table anywhere on your website via a shortcode. It displays information and links to all levels, side by side.

Yes. Every page receives a unique URL which you can edit. These pages are linked from the Levels table.
